Happy Father's Day
The Georgia House Republican Caucus held our annual retreat over the weekend, where our members gathered to enjoy some great time of fellowship and celebrate our legislative accomplishments.
From keeping more hard-earned tax dollars in the pockets of Georgia taxpayers, passing another historic tax rate reduction, and strengthening public safety to securing our school buildings, providing more literacy resources for our children and educators, and increasing access to healthcare through strategic investments across the state—the House has consistently delivered results on the issues that matter most to our fellow Georgians.
We’re proud of our record, and our entire team is laser-focused on delivering more historic conservative wins for our state and expanding our majority in 2026.

150th Anniversary of the Georgia Pharmacy Association
During the interim, our members have the opportunity to travel across the state to visit with Georgia’s professional associations and advocacy groups. These meetings are critical to our legislative efforts as we hear from industry experts and practitioners about the issues they are facing and their policy recommendations for ensuring the continued success of our statewide business community.
On Thursday, I joined several of my colleagues in the House at the Georgia Pharmacy Association’s annual conference. We were honored to present them with House Resolution 896, which the House passed in recognition of the organization’s 150th anniversary.
Georgia’s pharmacists are an integral part of our healthcare system, and the House is thankful for their dedication to increasing access to affordable prescription medications, educating future generations of pharmacists, and maintaining the highest professional standards for practitioners in every corner of the state.
Congratulations to the Georgia Pharmacy Association on this incredible milestone!

Father’s Day
As I often say, children are one of life’s greatest gifts, and Dayle and I are blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren. Our family is the reason I do this job—to create a better, brighter future for them and every future generation of Georgians.
We’re wishing all of the men who love, encourage, and support their families across the state a very happy Father’s Day!
I hope everyone has a great weekend celebrating with your families, and as always, please never hesitate to reach out if I can ever be of assistance.
My best,
Speaker Jon Burns
