Cast Your Ballot + Effingham Retired Educators

Election Day is just eleven days away, and tomorrow is the final Saturday to cast your ballot early ahead of the November 3rd General Election!

I know our schedules are busy and our weeks can be hectic, which is why I encourage every Georgian to make time this weekend to get out and vote.

The future of our state is on the ballot, and the decisions we make in this election will shape Georgia's direction for years to come. That’s why we must elect commonsense conservative leaders who are committed to building on the success of Governor Brian Kemp and the Georgia House.

Effingham County Retired Educators

This week, I joined the members of the Effingham Retired Educators Association to discuss the important work the House is doing to strengthen public education and support our state's retirees.

Georgia's educators dedicate their lives and careers to inspiring the next generation of leaders. That's why the House has been proud to support the long-term strength of the Teachers Retirement System and work to ensure our retired educators have the financial security and peace of mind they've earned.

We look forward to continuing our work alongside Georgia’s incredible education community and the dedicated individuals who have given so much to our children, ensuring our schools and communities remain strong and successful.

It was great to run into my friend, Miss Samantha Zittrouer, at the Effingham County Fair Parade on Monday

Dayle enjoyed the opportunity to share the incredible progress Georgia is making to advance early literacy with Dr. Amy Lingo, Dean of the Georgia Southern School of Education, at the Georgia Chamber’s Regional Roundtable event

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and don’t forget to make a plan to get out and vote tomorrow!

My best,

Speaker Jon Burns
