VOTE TODAY

It’s been a busy and productive week on the campaign trail with our Republican candidates for State House across South Georgia! With just four days until Election Day on November 3rd, we’re working hard to share our message, connect with voters, and earn the support of Georgians as we work to build a better, brighter future for our great state.

Now more than ever, it’s imperative that we maintain conservative leadership at every level so we can protect the values and way of life that we cherish as Georgians. The choices we make next Tuesday will determine the direction of our state for generations to come, so make a plan to get out and make your voice heard today.

Our team kicked off the week with Governor Brian Kemp in Sandersville supporting Trey Sheppard and Randy Peters for State House.

Randy and Trey are proven leaders who know what it takes to deliver real results, strengthen our communities, and create more opportunities for hardworking Georgia families. We need their commonsense conservative leadership under the Gold Dome to keep our state moving forward!

To all my friends in Middle Georgia, make a plan to get out and vote so we can send Randy and Trey to Atlanta to fight for our shared values and build a stronger, brighter future for our state!

Then, we spent the afternoon in Byron with Representatives Shaw Blackmon and Bethany Ballard, along with State House District 145 candidate Eric Wilson!

Shaw and Bethany have been unwavering champions for Middle Georgia and the communities they serve. Whether it’s improving literacy, creating good-paying jobs, supporting our active-duty military members and veterans, or helping hardworking Georgians keep more of their hard-earned money, they have consistently fought to make life better for the families and communities they represent.

That’s why we need to send Eric Wilson to the State House to work alongside Shaw and Bethany to build on that progress and keep Middle Georgia strong and thriving.

We ended the day Monday in Americus working to get out the vote in House District 151 for my friend and dedicated public servant, Representative Mike Cheokas.

Mike has fought for lower taxes, stronger schools, greater access to higher education opportunities, and good-paying jobs for the communities he represents. I’m proud to stand alongside Mike and look forward to continuing our work together to keep Southwest Georgia strong!

On Tuesday, we traveled to Albany to support State Representative Gerald Greene. He has been an unwavering advocate for his fellow Georgians for decades, and his commitment to service hasn’t changed! We look forward to continuing our work alongside Gerald to deliver real results for hardworking families and communities across Southwest Georgia.

On Wednesday, we joined Rep. Steven Meeks and Georgia’s statewide candidates at Mossy Pond in Patterson for Peaches, Pines, and Politics. Rural communities are the backbone of our state, and it’s critical that their voices remain strong under the Gold Dome.

Leaders like Steven Meeks, Commissioner Tyler Harper, and Brian Strickland understand the unique challenges facing our farm families, small business owners, and hardworking Georgians across rural communities. I look forward to continuing our work together to uplift each of our neighbors in every corner of our state.

We also enjoyed a great time of fellowship with members of our coastal delegation in the Georgia House!

Whether it’s preserving our rich natural resources, strengthening education, supporting local businesses, or creating more good-paying jobs, Representatives Steven Sainz, Rick Townsend, and Buddy DeLoach are working every day to build a brighter future for our coastal communities.

We wrapped up the week back home in Southeast Georgia working to get out the vote for two incredible public servants, Representatives Ron Stephens and Bill Hitchens.

They have dedicated their careers to serving their neighbors and advancing commonsense policies that strengthen public safety, expand economic opportunity, protect taxpayers, and preserve the values that make our state such a special place to call home.

Their records of service speak for themselves, and I know they have much more they want to accomplish on behalf of the people they represent. I encourage everyone in Southeast Georgia to get out and cast their ballots so Ron and Bill can continue their work under the Gold Dome.

Today is the last day to vote early before Election Day on Tuesday, November 3rd. This is a generational election, and the future of Georgia is on the ballot.

Let’s commit to electing leaders who are dedicated to strengthening our record of success and moving our great state forward.

My best,

Speaker Jon Burns
