Last Day of Early Voting + Bill Signings
Today is the last day to vote early in the 2026 primary election. Now more than ever, it’s critical that we make our voices heard to select strong, conservative candidates who are committed to upholding and strengthening our Georgia values.
In addition to statewide and local races, there are also several key judicial races on the ballot that will shape the future of our courts and our state for years to come. Georgia’s continued success and reputation as the best place to live, work, and raise a family are strengthened by our judges and justices who respect the Constitution and uphold the rule of law, which is why I hope you’ll join me in voting for our incumbent judicial candidates.

Thank You House District 159
Last week, over 200 friends, elected officials, and constituents from across House District 159 gathered to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together throughout my time in the Georgia House, and to learn more about the work ahead of us.
To each one of you who joined us—thank you for your friendship and continued support. It is the honor of a lifetime to represent my home community in the Georgia House, and I look forward to working with each of you to secure a better, brighter future for Southeast Georgia and our entire state.

Governor Kemp Signs Historic Tax Relief
On Monday, I joined members of the General Assembly as Governor Kemp signed historic tax relief legislation into law.
SB 33 delivers much-needed property tax relief across the state by capping the rate at which property assessments can increase, shielding homeowners from unexpected hikes in their property tax bills. In addition, SB 33 establishes a new Local Homestead Option Sales Tax (LHOST), which will allow local governments to provide homeowners with additional property tax relief.
HB 463 lowers Georgia's state income tax rate from 5.19% to 4.99% and aims to eventually reduce the income tax rate even further to 3.99%. This is the fourth consecutive year in which Georgia’s conservative leadership has passed a historic, fiscally responsible tax cut, allowing hardworking Georgians to keep more of their hard-earned money where it belongs—in their pockets.
The Georgia House was proud to champion these measures that delivered results when and where they were needed most, and we look forward to continuing our work to keep our state moving forward.
