2025 House Study Committees
This week, we celebrated a number of great accomplishments for the state of Georgia, including Governor Kemp’s signing of the Georgia Foster Care Scholarship Act, which reinforces our commitment to supporting our state’s most vulnerable youth, and providing pathways to opportunity for every Georgian.
This legislation sends a clear message—your circumstances in life do not determine your future in life. This life-changing scholarship removes the financial barriers that often keep foster youth from achieving their dream of obtaining higher education, and the House is proud to continue supporting measures that strengthen access to a brighter future for Georgians who need our help the most.

Championing Georgia’s Female Athletes
On Thursday, I was proud to join officials from the Atlanta Falcons and members of the Georgia House to celebrate the passage of House Resolution 347, which supports girls’ flag football teams across the state.
The House will continue to support girls’ sports each step of the way—and we’re grateful for the support of incredible partners like the Falcons who continue to elevate female athletes at every level.
