Supporting Rick Jackson + 2026 Ballot Questions
It’s always a privilege to recognize the incredible public servants who have contributed so much to our state throughout the years. That’s why I was proud to join my colleagues and friends as we unveiled the I-20/I-520 Interchange in honor of Don Grantham.
Driving across South Georgia and traveling the state, it’s clear to see the profound impact of Don’s service. During his tenure on the State Transportation Board and Georgia Ports Authority, he championed hundreds of millions of dollars in investments in transportation and freight infrastructure across South Georgia.
From rural road and bridge improvements to critical freight corridors serving the Port of Savannah—these investments and projects have shaped Georgia’s communities, strengthened our economy, and positioned our state for historic economic success.
But what is most special about Don’s legacy of service is that he had the foresight to think about what our state would need 10, 20, and 30 years down the road. Now, generations of Georgians still to come will benefit from the decisions he made and the projects he championed.

Yesterday, I joined friends and neighbors from across Southeast Georgia in Savannah to support the next Governor of our great state, Rick Jackson.
Rick’s success story is an incredible example of the American Dream, and his commonsense conservative agenda is focused on keeping Georgia headed in the right direction. From increasing access to healthcare and strengthening Georgia’s foster care system to making it easier for small businesses to succeed and championing education, Rick is running to serve Georgians and strengthen communities in every corner of our state.
I’m proud to stand with Rick and look forward to continuing to share his story and vision with Georgians across our state.

2026 Ballot Questions
In addition to the statewide and local officials on the ballot this November, Georgians will have the opportunity to vote on three ballot questions that will impact the future of our state.
I hope you’ll join me in voting YES on all three measures. Learn more about each question and what you can expect to see on your ballot below:
Ballot Question #1 - Increase Acreage Limit for Farmland Conservation
Shall the Constitution of Georgia, for the purpose of protecting family farmland, be amended so as to increase the maximum acreage to qualify for assessment and taxation as a bona fide conservation use property from 2,000 acres to 4,000 acres?
If ratified, this constitutional amendment will support Georgia farmers by doubling the amount of agricultural land eligible for conservation, helping preserve family farms and protect working farmland from unchecked development.
Ballot Question #2 - Require Nonpartisan Elections for Probate Judges
Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to require that all probate court judges be elected in nonpartisan elections?
If ratified, this constitutional amendment will require Georgia probate judges to be elected on nonpartisan ballots rather than through partisan primaries, helping strengthen the integrity and impartiality of Georgia’s judicial system.
Ballot Question #3 - Authorize Creation of Next Generation 9-1-1 Fund
Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to authorize the General Assembly to dedicate certain existing revenues, including revenues reallocated by law, to a nonlapsing fund to be used exclusively for the expansion, maintenance, and operation of emergency 9-1-1 systems in this state?
If ratified, this constitutional amendment will strengthen public safety and modernize Georgia’s emergency services system, ensuring first responders have the resources they need to serve communities across our state.
