Georgia’s businesses, families, and consumers received great news earlier this week when the Public Service Commission voted to approve a three-year rate freeze for Georgia Power base rates through 2028.
Georgia’s vast network of sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy is one of the many reasons we’ve been named the best state for business for 11 consecutive years, and this announcement reiterates the commitment of our leaders and energy providers to maintaining that designation for years to come.
St. Joseph’s Hospital Celebrates 150 Years of Service
Last week, I joined alongside my fellow House members and community leaders in Savannah to commemorate an incredible milestone achievement for St. Joseph’s Hospital—an institution that has been serving the citizens of Southeast Georgia and our great state for 150 years.
Countless families have shared their happiest moments and greatest times of need at St. Joseph’s, but no matter the circumstances they’ve faced, they have undoubtedly experienced the highest quality of care and unwavering compassion.
In the House, we talk a lot about ensuring every Georgian in every corner of the state has access to quality, affordable healthcare. Our job has certainly been made easier because of great partners like St. Joseph’s that are committed to working alongside us to accomplish that mission.
